The Giving Tuesday appeal is not only about giving gifts in kind or money, but also about giving time, often a more precious commodity. Therefore, OMEXOM GA Energo employees volunteered for one day and took part in a volunteer afternoon at the Chovánek Children’s Centre in Brno. During the volunteer afternoon, the centre’s garden was prepared for winter and its surroundings tidied up. Dozens of employees joined in and spent the afternoon not only working but also roasting sausages with the children from the centre. “Thank you to our Brno colleagues for participating in the volunteer afternoon at the Chovánek Children’s Centre in Brno. I am very glad we have employees who find the time to help others in such a hectic period,” said Zdeněk Židek, the company CEO. The volunteers also received a big thank you from the deputy director of the centre.
